So, I went to Kumoricon.
Kumoricon is always good. In spite of anything displeasing, it always finds a way of warming my heart. It was my first convention and is the only one I cannot miss, no exceptions. This year was the 10 year anniversary of the convention and I have been attending for nine years (as long as it has been in Portland! It was far away the first year. Or far enough).
Anyway, it was great for all sorts of reasons. Possibly one of the best parts, though, was getting with my cosplay group to conduct some interviews. We asked many, many people one simple question: "What do girls like?"
The results were beautiful.

OTAKON STUFF

So, Otakon is coming up! And I am going to BE there. This is a change. Usually this time of year I am at Anime Expo, but unfortunately I will not be able to make that convention this year. I know, this is disappointing. I am sad that I will be missing some familiar faces and missing chances to meet some new ones. Regretfully I have to say that lately I have also been missing LA. ONLY FOR NOSTALGIC REASONS. Not because it is an acceptable place on the Earth. Not at all because of that. It might be a little fun sometimes. WITH FRIENDS. FOR MEMORIES. THAT IS ALL. My friends and I were talking about bunnies, because we are college-aged females who like to keep up with the 'hip' things as college-aged females often do. Especially useful since on an average walk we see more bunnies than people, or cars, because we live in the middle of goddamn nowhere, NY.
We then brought up albino bunnies as our main topic, as a family of them moved in next door and we don't want to be ignorant to their ways. (we were going to put out a shelter for them, but then wondered if it would be racist.)
Anyway, I happened to have a brain glimpse of ap hoto!!! A glorious photo, of a glorious albino bunny creature on a couch, with laser eyes destined to kill. The bunny was possibly the largest I had seen. Easily 2 or 3 of our local bunnies. And so I excitedly described the image to my friends.
They too became excited. "Like a bunny god!!! FROM LEGENDS." "WE MUST TELL THE TOWN FOLK THEIR LORD HAS BEEN REINCARNATED."
I had a feeling you were the owner of this image??? I feel it is my duty to share the icon of the bunny god, and spread his wisdom. Possibly devote my life to it. Move to Australia and just preach about sentient bunny creatures.
